We finally had measurable rainfall locally in SE Minnesota and NE Iowa. Light showers impacted the region late Wednesday night and into early Thursday morning. The majority of moderate to heavy rainfall still stayed just to the west of I-35 Wednesday night.
The heaviest rainfall over the past 48-hours continued west and north of SE MN and NE IA. Another round of light showers will be possible Thursday night into Friday.
Light showers will continue Friday morning. Showers are expected to be isolated and scattered through the morning. Dry weather is likely through the late afternoon and evening on Friday.
Cooler temperatures will follow next week with highs in the lower 50s and 40s. Overnight lows could drop into the lower 30s early next week.
