Haven

For a classy night on the town that won’t bust your budget, you need to check out Haven on South Howard. Owned by the talented folks at Bern’s, this spot is known by locals as one of the best spots for foodies. Enjoy the best charcuterie, wine, and steaks, each with special accompanying flavors. Visit any day of the week from 5-7pm for happy hour, dubbed Haven Hour. Specials include bar bites for $7, wines by the glass and cocktails for $5, and beers for only $3. Happy hour is offered throughout the restaurant Monday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, it is only offered at the bar and patio.

Green Lemon

Also located in SoHo, Green Lemon is for you if you’re looking for a fun night out. Check out this spot any night of the week for a lively atmosphere, great music, and huge margaritas! Catch the best deals in town during happy hour, served daily from 3-7pm. Drink specials include a 36oz Margarona for $12, and margaritas for $10 (24oz) or $6 (16oz). Bulla

One of my favorite happy hours in Tampa Bay has to be Bulla. With a beautiful downstairs bar and the rooftop Luna Lounge, it’s a popular destination for a yummy Spanish meal paired with the best sangria in town. Join Bulla every day for their drink and food deals from 3-7pm. Sip on discounted drinks, plus sangria for only $6 per glass or $24 for a full pitcher–I love the While Peach Sangria! Pair your drink with discounted bar bites like ham croquettes, hummus, and the restaurant’s signature Patatas Bravas. FYI – happy hour food specials are only available at the bar.

Ava

For an Italian inspired happy hour, one of my favorite spots is Ava in Soho. This is a great spot to visit after work, as the atmosphere provides a true escape from the day-to-day. During happy hour, served weekdays from 4-7pm, indulge in $8 handcrafted cocktails and wines by the glass, and $7 8-inch pizzas (try the yummy mushroom pizza!). You can also nosh on discounted appetizers. FYI: happy hour is only available at the bar, and happy hour food is only available from 5-7pm.

Malio’s

Malio’s is one of Tampa’s most hailed steakhouses. Located right on the Tampa Riverwalk, it’s a scenic spot for any dates and special occasions. But that doesn’t mean that your wallet has to run dry! Visit Tuesday-Friday from 3-7pm for half-off lunch burgers, plus specially priced cocktails and appetizers. You need to try the Jumbo Shrimp Theresa – Malio’s spin on shrimp scampi, only more decadent.

Hotel Bar

For a classy twist on your regular happy hour, you need to visit Downtown Tampa’s Hotel Bar. Hotel Bar is a hidden gem, providing an intimate bar space and all the vibes to set the tone for your evening. I recommend sitting in the lounge couch area, which is complete with moody red lighting. Join Hotel Bar for happy hour on weekdays from 4-6pm for discounted wine, beers, and signature cocktails – all inspired by famous hotels around the world.

Yeoman’s Cask and Lion

Fill up before the Lightning game and avoid high drink prices at Amalie Arena by stopped for a drink at Yeoman’s Cask and Lion. Every weekday from 3-5pm, get $2 off all drinks. Pair your beverages with a few hearty dishes from the main menu to share with a group of friends. I love the British-American inspired food like Shepherd’s Pie and Fish & Chips.

The C House

One of the most extensive Tampa happy hours can be found at The C House in Seminole Heights. On weekdays from 3-6pm, you can get deals on bar bites, charcuterie, cocktails, shots, and more. I love that they include fun shots as part of the happy hour menu – like the “Can’t Take The Heat?” shot, made with mango-habanero infused vodka. Pair it with wings or charcuterie and you’ll be set for the evening.

Bernini

Start your night out in Ybor City by filling up on some great Italian food with amazing happy hour deals at Bernini. This spot hosts its famous martini happy hour every day from opening time to 7pm, offering 10 different flavors of $3 Stoli martinis. This Tampa happy hour also includes a discount on the restaurant’s delicious pastas. Score half off all pastas and entrees from 4-7pm. I recommend checking out their savory Pork Osso Bucco and Tortelloni Carbonara.

Barterhouse Ybor

Barterhouse in Ybor is a hit with the Tampa locals, as a luxurious spot for a delicious dinner. Their creative twist on American cuisine features eclectic flavors, even during happy hour. I love their specials because they’re available every day and are sure to fill you up. Visit Wednesday-Sunday from 4:30-6:30pm to treat yourself to special deals on select wines ($5 by the glass), select cocktails (just $7 each) and amazing bar bites for $6 each. Try the Smash Burger, Bacon Wrapped Dates, and Korean Chicken Wings, all featured on the happy hour menu.

Kona Grill

For a sushi twist on your happy hour, there are amazing deals at Kona Grill. After a day of shopping at International Plaza, make your way to this nearby Japanese-inspired New American restaurant for a bite to eat and overflowing sake. They host a great early bird happy hour and late night happy hour to keep you satisfied. Enjoy discount sushi, egg rolls, and sake bombs. Happy hour is served Monday-Friday from 2-6pm and late night Monday-Thursday from 9pm until closing time.

The Canopy

One of my favorite rooftop bars in Tampa Bay is The Canopy at The Birchwood Hotel. With sweeping views of the bay, this is a great spot to watch the sunset. Take in the view with great deals on weekdays from 4-7pm.  During this time you’ll get $3 beers and half off all cocktails, sangria, and wine. There are no food specials, so visit this spot for happy hour drinks before grabbing dinner nearby.

No Vacancy

Every day is a Florida block party at No Vacancy. This outdoor St. Pete patio bar is decorated with flamingos, bright colors, and neon accents. On Wednesday-Friday from 4-7pm, get deals on beers and wells, half off champagne and rose bottles, and $6 frozen painkillers – the bar’s signature tropical rum cocktail. Pair with an appetizer or sandwich. I love the Lobster Dip and Alligator Bites, both unique offerings in the Tampa Bay area.
