MORELAND HILLS, Ohio
Debris on street: Old Plank Lane, Bentleyville Road
An officer spoke with a cement contractor around 8:30 a.m. on June 23 about debris in the left in the roadway from a concrete truck located in the northbound lane of Bentleyville Road near the intersection with Old Plank Lane and Greentree Road.
A crew from the Twinsburg and North Royalton-based contractor was sent out a few minutes later to clean up the roadway, including excess concrete. Officers checked back shortly before noon and found that the streets had been cleared of debris.
Hit confirmation-missing person: Lakeshore Boulevard
Willowick police notified Moreland Hills that they had a runaway girl, 15, in custody around 5 p.m. on June 23. A Moreland Hills officer was dispatched to pick her up at the Willowick police station and return her home.
Parking complaint: Easton Lane
A caller reported a party on the street with parked cars blocking a fire hydrant at 5:52 p.m. on June 25. Within a half-hour, police made contact with the resident host, who agreed to get at least one car moved.
Noise complaint: Jackson Road
Police were asked to check on a report of loud music being played at 9:04 a.m. on June 26 -- a Sunday, subject to additional local noise ordinances. Within 10 minutes an officer located and spoke with a resident about turning down her radio, which she agreed to do.
Threats: Skyline Drive
Officers spoke with a resident at 3:09 a.m. on June 27 about an report of unspecified threats made, called in directly to the police station.
