Two men were killed and two others wounded in back-to-back shootings in Penns Grove late Saturday.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the killers.
The first shooting occurred around 11 p.m. in a home on Pearl Street, where one man was shot to death and two other people were wounded, according to Penns Grove Police Officer in Charge Lt. Jason Spera.
Within an hour of that incident, another man was gunned down three blocks away on West Harmony Street.
Police have not released the names of the victims and do not know if the shootings are connected.
No arrests have been made, Spera said Sunday morning. He said investigators with his department and the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office are pursuing leads.
He declined to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
Anyone with information about either case is asked to contact Penns Grove Detective Jesse Thorn at 856-299-0304 or prosecutor’s office Investigator Ryan Donelson at 856-935-7510, ext 8333.
Anonymous tips may be made by calling 856-935-2847.
