Grocery retailer Kroger plans to quickly hire 2,000 people to fill positions in Southeast Michigan, the company announced Friday.
The company is using a rapid hiring process to bring people on-board in 48 hours, WXYZ Detroit reports.
Of the 2,000 available jobs, 50 are fulltime, the report said. Most positions are in the pickup, deli and overnight grocery departments. Benefits include union membership, pension and health insurance. It’s unclear if the positions are temporary for the holiday season.
