GALESBURG, Ill. (KWQC) - The Galesburg Police Dept. responded to two shooting incidents about an hour apart on Monday.
According to police, the first incident happened at about 4:00 p.m.
Galesburg Police found a vehicle had been shot in the area of Brooks St. and Academy St., however no one was injured in the incident.
Only an hour later, at about 5:00 p.m., Galesburg Police responded to the 300 block of W. First St. for a shooting incident. According to police, they found a woman in a parked vehicle who had been shot.
She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Both incidents remain under investigation, according to police.
