AURORA, Neb. (KSNB) - Emergency management in Hamilton County confirmed that a landspout had blown garage doors in at a storage unit near the south side of Aurora on Highway 14.
According to the National Weather Service in Hastings’ storm reports, the tornado touched down at 7:50 p.m.
Another landspout touched down at 8:00 p.m. 5 miles southwest of Stromsburg in Polk County. According to emergency management, that tornado turned over a horse trailer along Highway 66.
At this time, there has been no injuries reported from either tornado.
