STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A crash caused a traffic jam on and around Forest Avenue in Westerleigh during the Wednesday morning rush hour.
The accident was near Willow Road East and traffic was delayed on both Forest and Willow Road.
A person refused medical attention after the crash, which was reported at 7:34 a.m., according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.
A light-colored Lexus sedan had extensive damage on its front-passenger side.
A support wire for a utility pole also was damaged.
