Workers with contractor Prime Electric install strings of LED lights over Main St. by Norwich Superior Court Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Strings of lights in a zig zag design will replace the seasonal decorative lights annually erected by Norwich Public Utilities.

The project, which will cost $30,000, is funded by $25,000 from the city, $3,000 from the Norwich Community Development Corp. and $2,000 from Global City Norwich.

The lights will run in four sections, two along Broadway between City Hall and the Wauregan, and two on Main St. between Courthouse Square and the Main St. parking garage.
