Lancel Wayne Light, 76, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Friday, September 4, 2020, at his home.
He was born October 17, 1943, in Hemlock, W.Va., a son of the late Dewey and Lera Tenney Light. On April 19, 1963, he married Janice “Marie” Simons who survives of Buckhannon.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric Light and wife Stormee of Buckhannon and Craig Light and wife Melissa of Edmond, W.Va.; three grandsons, Mitchell Light of N.C., Logan Light of Oak Hill, WV and Austin Light of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Emma Grace Light of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Maya and two brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chelsey Light and two sisters. Mr. Light was a Business Owner for L & T Farm Equipment and attended the Union Mission Church of Buckhannon.
In honoring Mr. Light’s wishes he will be cremated.
