STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Dense fog is a threat to drivers during the Thursday morning rush hour.
Fog is expected to last until at least 9 a.m., according to a special weather statement from the National Weather Service.
“Visibilities will be reduced to one quarter of a mile or less at times,” according to the National Weather Service. “If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.”
A high of 66 degrees under mostly sunny skies is forecast for Thursday, according to AccuWeather.com.
