One person was in critical condition Saturday afternoon and two others were wounded after three separate shootings within an hour in Louisville, police said.
The incidents are under investigation, but police don't believe they're related, Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said.
The first shooting was reported about 2:45 p.m. in the 5100 block of Poplar Level Road in southern Louisville, according to police. An adult male was taken to the hospital with "non-life threatening injuries," the statement said.
Police say a second shooting, in the 900 block of Minerva, was reported about 3:15 p.m. An adult female was taken to the hospital in that case, the statement said, for a "non-life threatening gunshot wound."

And a third shooting, reported at about 3:30 p.m. in the 800 block of South Hancock Street in the Smoketown area, left an adult male hospitalized in critical condition with "at least one gunshot wound," police said.
The department's Major Crimes Unit is investigating all three shootings.
