Halloween is almost here, and it's time to start driving around to enjoy the most spook-tacular decoration displays in the Triangle!

Once again, some locals have gone above and beyond to spread the Halloween spirit, with light displays that flicker along to music, houses being attacked by skeletons, and even an entire street that has changed its name to Gravestone Court.

How do you find the most memorable displays? WRAL will collect the best Halloween houses right here, adding to the list as more homes are submitted. If you know of a Halloween house worthy of being added to the list, send photos and an address to our Report It.

Halloween House in Georgetown Neighborhood

1. The Spider Den of Five Points - 201 Georgetown Road

"When the moon is bright and our fears take flight, the house on the corner will give you a fright. There are glowing spiders and spindly cobwebs, and old spooky cloth, tattered in threads. The glowing front door, adorned with antlers so tall, and three witches’ brooms affixed to the wall. The house calls out, “Come look, come see!" for the magical night approaches – Happy Halloween!"

Each year this house near Five Points in Raleigh has the unfortunate luck to get overrun by giant spiders. By day, you can see white, stringy spider webs being spun by gargantuan arachnids all over the house, spinning an impressively eerie 25-foot spider web suspended from the roof.

At night, as the house lights up, the dwelling takes on a more sinister look and the true nature of this spooky spider den is revealed!

2. Fleming Family Lights - 228 Rothes Court, Clayton

Known for their impressive Christmas display, Fleming Family Lights set up a Halloween display with strobe lights and dancing ghosts.

Their colorful display flashes to catchy synchronized music from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. through Halloween night.

Their Facebook page keeps visitors updated on when their lights will be on.

3. Oakwood Halloween house - 504 Oakwood Ave., Raleigh

A downtown Raleigh classic, the Oakwood Halloween House is decorated nearly all year long, with a life-sized raptor guarding the front porch.

This year, they've installed a giant skeleton, themed after one of the scariest parts of 2020 and 2021: The pandemic.

During Halloween, they go all-out, with dinosaurs, dragons, gothic gargoyles, scary statues, and an entire yard full of Halloween delights.

4. Halloween at Gravestone Court - Greystone Court, Durham

Every year, Greystone Court in Durham transforms into the far spookier Gravestone Court.

This year's centerpiece is a tall, slender, eerie skeleton-scarecrow, fully lit along with a yard full of pumpkins and custom-made ghouls.

Edward's Battle Haunted House

5. Halloween display for Make-a-Wish - 9401 S. Mere Ct., Raleigh

This incredible display was put together by a Raleigh teenager who fought childhood cancer. He combines his love for horror with his love for helping people in need -- and uses the display to raise money for Make-A-Wish and Give Kids the World.

This year's display pays homage to one of the scariest moments in Raleigh – the week the Raleigh Cobra was on the loose! A giant zebra cobra watches over a shadowy corner of the front yard.

There are also plenty of orange lights and an ode to Ghostbusters.

Edward's Haunted Battle Yard will run through Oct. 31 from 7-10 p.m.

6. Purple lights and projected ghouls - 3424 South Pointe Drive, Apex

This display in Apex features magical purple lights and ghoulish projections drifting eerily across portions of the home.
