QuickChek has opened four stores in the past six weeks across New Jersey with the latest 24-hour location unveiled in Hackettstown.
The chain celebrated the opening of its new 5,496-square-foot store, 134 Mountain Ave., on Tuesday. It previously opened locations in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, Somerset County on Sept. 10; in Roxbury on Sept. 16; and in Piscataway on Sept. 21. All those locations also are open 24 hours, a chain spokesman said.
A grand opening promotion includes a single free hot or iced QuickChek coffee to all patrons for a limited time.
The new store replaces a smaller, now shuttered QuickChek location across the street. It has six fuel pumps with 12 fueling positions; as well as indoor seating for 10 people; outdoor seating for eight people; and 52 parking spaces. Its interior layout caters to patrons “on the go,” the chain spokesman said.
Readington-based QuickChek has become one of N.J.’s most popular convenience stores. Available offerings for 24 hours will be made-to-order breakfast items; subs, wraps, salads, and personalized hot and cold beverage. Baked goods are made on site and there’s a daily rotation of freshly-made soups, the spokesman said.
Additionally, the Hackettstown location will be carrying a variety of seasonal items, such as a “Thanksgiving Everyday” menu, with turkey, stuffing, cranberry relish, and gravy on a roll or wrap. There’s also “Thanksgiving Everyday” soup and stuffing bowls. The smoothie lineup features a “PEEPS Monster” drink, as well as a “Pumpkin Cookie” drink.
Currently, there are 159 QuickChek stores in New Jersey; 93 of them offer fuel.
