To the Editor: 

In this challenging, complicated pandemic, attenders of Acadia Friends (Quaker) Meeting thank all who have been vaccinated, particularly teachers and health care workers. 

We are comforted that so many in our community care about the common good of their neighbors as well as themselves. 

We are also grateful that we have access to the vaccine that saves lives and keeps people out of hospitals. 

We hold in the Light all who work daily in our schools, clinics, and hospitals and in our grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and other public venues. 

Thank you to all who have made the vaccine a priority for the health and safety of our community.
