The University of Minnesota announced today the return of several fan enhancements as well as new fan initiatives in advance of the upcoming football season at Huntington Bank Stadium. Minnesota hosts Ohio State at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2. Limited tickets are still available.Welcome to Huntington Bank Stadium
The 2021 season will mark the first in the newly renamed Huntington Bank Stadium. The name change is a result of Huntington Bank's acquisition of TCF Bank in June 2021, which created a powerhouse Midwest bank ranking in the top 25 nationally and top 10 regionally. Huntington has earned a reputation for strong community involvement and will build on TCF's deep history with the University of Minnesota.
West Plaza Gopher Hour
- Reduced price pre-game food and drink specials on the West Plaza of Huntington Bank Stadium during the first hour that gates are open for all seven home games.
- The first Gopher Hour of 2021 will start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2 when West Plaza gates open prior to Minnesota facing Ohio State.
- Special pricing on select adult beverages will be available to all fans 21+ as well as peanuts and popcorn for $2 during Gopher Hour.
Mobile Ticketing & Parking with Account Management Features
Fans can utilize the Minnesota Gophers App, or a mobile web browser, to access mobile tickets for entering the stadium and parking lots, easily transfer tickets and/or parking passes and efficiently post to the secondary market for resale. Ticket holders can login to their account here or review the Ticketing Help page for tutorials and step-by-step instructions.
Overnight RV Parking
Overnight RV parking is now available for Saturday games in the Victory Lot near Huntington Bank Stadium. Information on securing an Overnight RV parking pass can be found here.
New Golden Gophers Fan Shop
- Visit the new Golden Gophers Fan Shop located near Gate E for all the newest Minnesota apparel.
- Additional kiosks with Minnesota products are also available throughout the concourse. Stop by the enhanced shopping experience near section 225 for the largest selection within the Huntington Bank Stadium concourse.
Gopher Pass Returns for 2021
Enhanced Entry Technology at Stadium Gates
Fans will be able to safely enter the stadium more efficiently with the addition of enhanced magnetometers for security screenings. Individuals will no longer be asked to empty their pockets while being screened at most exterior gates. Huntington Bank Stadium enforces a clear bag policy and more information can be found here.
Club Cambria
Newly designed Club Cambria will feature an updated look and feel with new flooring, soon-to-be-launched Cambria designs in Maroon and Gold and bold Gopher football graphics throughout the 20,000 square-foot space. These enhancements to the stadium's premium space are part of a 10-year partnership with Le Sueur-based Cambria, which has long supported Gopher Athletics. Club Cambria replaces DQ Club.
New Concessions Items
- All concessions locations will return to accepting both cash and credit/debit cards.
- New to Section 135, the Sizzle Stand, by longtime Minnesota Partner Hormel Foods will feature BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders, Tater Keg Skewers, A "Minnesota Nice" Cajun Sausage Link with sweet relish and a Short Rib Grilled Cheese
- Relish: Gourmet Hot Dogs comes ready to play with a new Elote Dog, Backyard BBQ Footlong Dog and Nacho Footlong Dog. (Sections 109 and 140)
- Northern Taco: In sections 109 and 140 incorporate a 64-ounce Super Nacho, which is great for sharing in the stands. Other popular items return including our Burrito Bowl, Chicken Tacos and Carnitas Tacos
- Scoop'd: Ice Cream favorites including a new Waffle Sundae Bowl
- Goldy's Grill: Fontanini returns in a specialty made brat for all Minnesota athletic events
- West Plaza will feature several local restaurants, including Parlour Burger and their homemade Ground Chuck, Ribeye and Brisket patty. Longtime partner Curds & Cakes also returns to the West Plaza with their award-winning cheese curds and corn dogs. The Brat Dog will make their debut at Huntington Bank Stadium featuring a Wild Rice and Cheddar, Jalapeno & Pepper Jack or their Original Smoked Brat style Corn Dog.
- Huntington Bank Stadium will also feature Vietnamese cuisine from Minneapolis based Lotus, Subway (140), Dominos Pizza (115 & 123), and Famous Dave's BBQ (Section 112). St. Paul-based Be Graceful Catering (143 & 123) will offer their made-to-order paninis and salads. Maui Wowi Smoothies will be available throughout the stadium on game days. Handcrafted Caramel, Cheese and Buttered Popcorn will be available from locally owned Drew's Popcorn in Sections 112 and 137.
- Club Cambria: Always features game day favorites, but adds a few twists this year bringing Loaded Brisket Nachos and Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos. Plant Based, The Beyond Brat, will be available in Club Cambria, and at Goldy's Grills throughout the stadium
Innovative Concessions Concepts
- "Row n' Go": self-service portable stands near sections 143, 138 & 107 will return this season. Easily choose from a broad array of adult beverages from various local and national breweries, soda, snacks, and check-out with the attendant at the kiosk
- Monster Self Service kiosk will be available serving a wide variety of Coca-Cola Products and Monster Products.
Gopher Garden Fan Fest on Oak Street
- Join other Gopher fans outside 3M Arena at Mariucci to get ready for the game. Enjoy the Gopher pre-game radio show presented by Cub, activities for fans of all ages, food & beverages available for purchase, music, giveaways and more.
- Stick around for the Gopher Spirit Rally featuring the Pride of Minnesota Marching Band and the Gopher Spirit Squad on the 3M Arena at Mariucci patio approximately one hour prior to kickoff.
Full Capacity & COVID Policies for Gopher Athletics Events
- The University of Minnesota is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans attending events on our campus. Current guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health do not limit venue capacity or require physical distancing between individuals. In accordance with Minnesota Department of Health and University of Minnesota COVID-19 guidelines, the below policies are currently in effect for all Gopher Athletics events:
- All individuals - regardless of vaccination status - are required to wear a mask or face covering that fully covers both the mouth and nose while indoors. The lone exception is when an individual is actively eating or drinking.
- The indoor facial covering requirement includes indoor areas of predominantly outdoor venues (Huntington Bank Stadium, Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium, etc.) such as elevators, restrooms, first aid rooms, enclosed premium areas, etc.
- All individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a mask or face covering while outdoors in large public areas. Large outdoor public areas include open air concourses, exterior entry/exit gates, parking lots, seating bowls, etc.
- The Minnesota staff is working closely with government and campus officials to monitor guidelines and will adjust policies as needed.
